Description
Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), commonly sold under the research name TB-500, is a 43-amino-acid peptide and the principal actin-sequestering molecule in mammalian cells. By regulating actin polymerisation it influences cell migration, differentiation and cytoskeletal remodelling — the mechanisms behind much of the published research into tissue repair. Studies have investigated Tβ4 for its role in angiogenesis, wound closure, corneal and dermal healing, cardiac and neural tissue models, and the down-regulation of inflammatory cytokines. Its small size and stability give it broad distribution in research models. Supplied as a sterile lyophilized powder for reconstitution, this vial is intended exclusively for laboratory research and collector purposes.
