Description
Thymosin Alpha-1 (Tα1) is a 28-amino-acid, N-terminally acetylated peptide originally isolated from thymosin fraction 5 of the thymus gland. It is one of the most extensively studied immunomodulatory peptides: research describes it acting on toll-like receptors and supporting the maturation and activity of T-lymphocytes, natural killer cells and dendritic cells, while helping to balance rather than simply amplify the immune response. Laboratory and clinical literature has explored Tα1 in the context of immune reconstitution, antiviral response and inflammatory regulation. Supplied as a sterile lyophilized powder for reconstitution, this vial is intended exclusively for laboratory research and collector purposes.
