Peptide NAD+ OXY-NAD (600mg) OxyPharma
Catalogue entry: Peptide NAD+ OXY-NAD OxyPharma. Labelled content: 600 mg. Listed pack: 1 vial. The amount identifies labelled product content, not an administration dose.
Identity and mechanism
NAD+ is the oxidised form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a coenzyme involved in redox reactions and cellular signalling. It is not a peptide. Its essential role inside cells does not establish that a particular external preparation reaches relevant tissues or improves exercise performance.
What the research measured
Grant and colleagues reported an exploratory human NAD+ metabolome pilot in 2019. Other studies, including Elhassan and colleagues' work in older human muscle, examined precursors such as nicotinamide riboside rather than the same intervention. A precursor, NAD+ itself and a named mixture are not interchangeable research materials.
Sporting claims and limitations
Sporting interest centres on energy, recovery and ageing. A change in a blood metabolite does not by itself demonstrate better endurance, reduced muscle damage or meaningful long-term benefit. Cellular NAD+ biology and NNMT-inhibitor research with 5-Amino-1MQ describe related questions without validating a shared treatment claim. Formulation quality also matters: contamination concerns cannot be answered by citing the coenzyme's natural occurrence.
Product identity and documentation
For this product, verify which chemical form is actually supplied and whether the label describes NAD+ or another substance. A lot-specific identity result and relevant quality testing should correspond to the selected material. Claims about sterility or suitability need their own evidence. The quantity displayed is labelled content, not proof of bioavailability, physiological exposure or an established recovery regimen.
