Peptide OXY-GHK-cu (50 mg) OxyPharma
Catalogue entry: Peptide OXY-GHK-cu (50 mg) OxyPharma. Labelled content: 50 mg. Listed pack: 1 vial. The amount identifies labelled product content, not an administration dose.
Identity and mechanism
GHK-Cu is the copper complex of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, a tripeptide studied in tissue and skin biology. The copper-bound complex is not the same specification as uncomplexed GHK. Its skin-related research also differs from the pigmentation pathways discussed with Melanotan II.
What the research measured
Maquart and colleagues reported collagen-related findings in cultured fibroblasts in FEBS Letters in 1988 and experimental wound research in 1993. More recent work includes fibroblast and ex-vivo skin models. These settings explore cellular and tissue responses. They do not establish the effects of an unrelated systemic preparation on human tendons, muscle recovery or athletic performance.
Sporting claims and limitations
Sporting and cosmetic narratives sometimes convert collagen signalling into a broad repair promise. Collagen synthesis in a laboratory model is not a measurement of restored joint function or durable tissue strength. Formulation, tissue exposure and the presence of copper matter to interpretation. Topical research cannot simply establish the safety of another presentation, and limited human data leave meaningful uncertainties.
Product identity and documentation
For the selected item, confirm whether documentation identifies the copper complex, the peptide itself and the relevant composition rather than only repeating GHK. A batch report should match the actual lot and explain its methods. An attractive blue appearance is not proof of copper stoichiometry, purity or sterility. Product identity remains separate from the biological hypotheses discussed in research.
