Ipamorelin OXY-IPA Peptide (5 mg) OxyPharma
Catalogue entry: Ipamorelin OXY-IPA Peptide (5 mg) OxyPharma. Labelled content: 5 mg. Listed pack: 1 vial. The amount identifies labelled product content, not an administration dose.
Identity and mechanism
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide growth-hormone secretagogue investigated as a ghrelin-receptor agonist. Its receptor pathway differs from the GHRH pathway used by Sermorelin. The term selective describes comparisons made in experimental settings; it does not mean that every downstream effect or long-term risk has been excluded.
What the research measured
Raun and colleagues described its preclinical pharmacology in 1998. Beck and colleagues reported a placebo-controlled phase II postoperative-ileus trial in 2014. That clinical study did not establish a significant efficacy advantage in its primary or secondary analyses. Human pharmacokinetic research documents exposure and hormone responses, not a proven wellness or sporting benefit.
Sporting claims and limitations
Claims about sleep, muscle growth and recovery extend beyond these endpoints. A pituitary GH response is not evidence that an athlete becomes stronger or heals more quickly. Endocrine stimulation, metabolic effects and formulation-dependent safety remain relevant questions. Comparisons with Ibutamoren should preserve the distinction between a peptide and a nonpeptide compound, even though both are discussed as secretagogues.
Product identity and documentation
For this item, the selected content and presentation are source-label information. A useful batch report should identify ipamorelin, specify its chemical form and describe relevant analytical methods. Neither a source photograph nor a paper about another formulation can confirm the contents of the supplied vial. Research context helps interpret the molecule; it cannot replace product-specific quality documentation.
