Product overview

Epithalon OXY-EPI peptide (20 mg) OxyPharma

Catalogue entry: Epithalon OXY-EPI peptide OxyPharma. Labelled content: 20 mg. Listed pack: 1 vial. The amount identifies labelled product content, not an administration dose.

Identity and mechanism

Epithalon, also written Epitalon, is a synthetic tetrapeptide associated with ageing and cellular-regulation research. It should be distinguished from broader pineal extracts or similarly named products. A molecular name is a starting point for identity, not evidence that different preparations have the same composition or biological activity.

What the research measured

Khavinson and colleagues reported telomerase-related observations in human cell cultures in 2003. Animal ageing studies and later cell-line work explore additional hypotheses. These experiments can investigate cellular processes, but they do not establish increased human lifespan or a clinically useful rejuvenation effect. Cell type and experimental conditions are essential when interpreting telomere findings.

Sporting claims and limitations

In sport, longevity language can become a claim of better recovery or more resilient tissue. No direct performance result follows from a telomerase signal. Unresolved effects on different cell populations and limited long-term human safety information remain important. MOTS-c and NAD+ address different biological questions; grouping them as longevity compounds does not create interchangeable evidence.

Product identity and documentation

For this product, confirm the actual tetrapeptide identity, chemical form and lot reference. Product documentation should distinguish the defined sequence from extracts or blends and describe the analytical method used. The labelled quantity is not a validated anti-ageing regimen. A purity certificate cannot establish that a molecular change is beneficial, and research about cellular ageing cannot authenticate the contents of a supplier vial.
